Tea Guesthouse is a traditional Korean hanok and is probably my favourite guest house/hotel ive ever stayed in. I absolutely loved my stay here and fell in love with South Korea here also! It was tricky to find at first, its actually a lot easier to find walking from the underground station with their map rather than via taxi, take not that if you are planning on getting a taxi, none of the drivers speak or read English, so you need the address written in Korean! When we arrived 8 hours before our check in time they made extra arrangements to clean the room quickly and let us check in early! Staff were very nice and helpful, we stayed in the Bamboo house (an annex of the main tea guest house) and loved every minute, it is true Korean style and a wonderful experience, all the benefits of tradition with all the mod cons of a hotel, with a computer and wireless internet, tv, hot water and heating! The location is perfect, I was worried when I looked at it on a map as it look far away from the centre but it is very close to insadong  which turned out to be my favourite place in Seoul and with it being just 5 mins from a railway station it was east to get around the city! I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, I will be going back for sure, if you’re planning a trip to Seoul check out my post here for more info on things to do!
