So there are of course a whole tonne of sights to see in London, but let’s be honest you already know what they are!! In this post I’m going to address an equally important issue, where should you go for a nice cold pint of beer or smooth cocktail after a long day of traipsing around London!

Camden Town – Camden is full of tiny pubs, you cant go more than 10 meters without finding an old stlye English pub with bizarre hunting décor, cosy corners and dimly lit rooms.

The Winchester – An amazing quirky pub, in Angel Islington it’s a great place to finish off a hectic day or a great lunch time stop. They serve some quality English pub food I can recommend the home made Angus beef burger and they have an amazingly long list of tasty cocktails to work your way through.

Hyde park – One for those on a budget, or just when the weather if particularly nice, stop off at a supermarket and grab a couple of cold bottle and head down to Hyde Park for some relaxing beers in the sun*! *Disclaimer… If you manage to get there on one of the 10 days of sunshine the UK has per year, hey you might be lucky.

The Rocket – Also one for those on a budget, this student hangout is known for its cheap drinks and delicious yet remarkably cheap food it’s a definite place to call in for a low budget lunch or after hours drinks. This places gets packet after 6pm though so don’t expect a seat or much space to stand come to think of it!

London eye – Okay so its technically against the rules to drink on the London Eye, but the security are normally a bit half-hearted and don’t really check your bags too carefully, if you can sneak it on cracking open a beer as you rotate high above London is a really special experience!
